The agency
The agency's reputation is based on its ability to discover and launch young talents, build the reputation of its artists, guide them in their evolution and maintain privileged and benevolent relationships with them.
Creation
Priska Peters and Guy Mestrallet first met at the Émile Cohl School of Illustration and Animation in Lyon.
After several years working as independent illustrators, they founded their own illustration agency in 2001.
With a solid artistic education and a deep understanding of both craft and market, they quickly established
Costume III Pièces as a distinctive presence in the creative industry. Surrounded by talented collaborators,
the agency rapidly earned the trust of clients across the press, publishing, and advertising sectors.
From the very beginning, the agency became known for its ability to discover and nurture emerging talent,
build artists’ reputations, guide their creative growth, and maintain close, caring relationships with them.
Each year, Costume III Pièces hosts exhibitions—either collective or solo—within its own space, celebrating
artistic exploration and exchange.
The desire to tell stories and create emotion, the requirement down to the smallest detail.
Birth of the creative studio
Driven by curiosity and a desire to explore new territories, the founders soon turned
toward the luxury world, expanding into animation and international markets, particularly Japan. This evolution
naturally led to the creation of a dedicated studio alongside the agency.
Kenzo Parfums became the studio’s first luxury client, marking the beginning of a decade-long collaboration.
Prestigious brands such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps Haussmann in France, and Parco and Isetan in Japan,
entrusted the team with the design of their landmark window displays.
From there, the studio’s client list grew to include champagne houses, jewelers, watchmakers, perfume and cosmetics
brands, luxury hotels, and prestigious chocolateries—all drawn to its ability to combine artistic sensitivity
with strategic storytelling.
Among their loyal clients today are Moët & Chandon, Van Cleef & Arpels, Piaget, Vacheron Constantin, Diptyque,
Issey Miyake Parfums, Shiseido, Le Ritz, and Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse.
At the heart of Costume III Pièces lies a passion for storytelling and emotion, an attention to detail and
precision, and a deep understanding of the codes and values of luxury.
From art direction and concept creation to full production, the studio crafts bespoke responses for each client—drawing
inspiration from a brand’s history and future vision to remain faithful to its identity, while giving it a
fresh, contemporary voice.
The creative studio specializes in the design and production of scenography, sensory journeys, advertising or digital films, packaging and publications.
